Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Our client a large FQHC (Community Health Center) is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work outpatient clinic. The responsibility of the NP or PA is to provide quality health care and treatment plans for patients to help in the prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient’s primary care provider.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred.
- Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing.
- Current Maine State Licensure.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant’s program.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Current Maine State Licensure. Requires current CPR and ACLS.
