A well-established academic healthcare organization is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing psychiatry and behavioral health division. Requirements
General Job Requirements
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients
- Manage care across inpatient, outpatient, and consultative settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers
- Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and/or fellows
- Engage in program development, quality improvement, and/or research activities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of psychiatry residency
- Completion of fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry (preferred or required depending on role)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Eligible for or able to obtain state medical licensure
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Interest in academic medicine, teaching, or program development (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, multidisciplinary environment
