Psychiatrist Opportunity – Addiction Medicine / Medical Director Role
Specialty: Psychiatry (Addiction/Substance Use Focus)
Locations: Earleville, MD & Waldorf, MD
Schedule: Flexible (1–3 days per week per site)
Status: Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities Available
Compensation: Competitive; based on level of involvement and site coverage
Position Overview
We are seeking 1–2 experienced Psychiatrists to support detoxification and residential treatment programs in Maryland. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work across one or both locations depending on availability and interest.
Providers will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care while supporting and supervising advanced practice providers within a structured treatment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person psychiatric care within detox and residential treatment settings
- Conduct patient evaluations, medication management, and ongoing clinical oversight
- Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Serve in a Medical Director capacity, contributing to program development and clinical quality
- Ensure adherence to best practices in addiction and behavioral health care
Schedule & Structure:
- 1–3 days per week onsite per location
- Opportunity to cover one or both sites
- Full-time role available for candidates covering both locations

Qualifications:
- MD or DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment required
- Prior leadership or Medical Director experience strongly preferred
- Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
