Gastroenterologist
Location: Lima, Ohio 45801
Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our expanding digestive health program in Lima, Ohio. This position provides an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice supported by a strong referral network and modern endoscopy facilities. The physician will diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders while collaborating with primary care physicians and specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients regarding gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
- Excellent clinical and procedural skills.
- Strong communication and patient management abilities.
