Make a Difference in Senior Behavioral Health
We are recruiting a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a 140-bed behavioral health hospital located in Valdosta, Georgia.
The hospital offers comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care along with Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services.
Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions affecting older adults

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric services

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred

  • Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
