Full Time Neurology Physician Job in Burlington, MA

We are actively recruiting a physician specializing in Neurology to join a dynamic and growing medical group near Burlington MA. The successful candidate will join a reputable group of Neurologists, Nurse Practitioners. Position: Neurology

Responsibilities:

Ø Diagnose complex medical problems by combining a patient’s history, subjective assessment and physical examination with specialized training in conducting neurological tests.

Ø Perform and interpret lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography and nerve conduction velocity tests.

Ø Order neurological tests and interpret the results of neuroimaging studies.

Ø Counsel patients and families on neurological disorders.

Ø Keep abreast of community resources; Order supportive care services for patients and families.

Ø Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication.

Ø Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.

Ø Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.

Ø Keep up to date with neurological developments, treatments and medication.

Starting Salary: Competitive above MGMA AVG .

Call Schedule: 1:4 per Month

Office Location: Will work in One Office Setting and Area Hospital

Time Frame: When Available

Additional Requirements/Details:

Ø Permanent, Full-Time Position

Ø BE/BC in Neurology

Ø Current Massachusetts and DEA License or ability to attain

Ø 3 years of specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program

Ø Experienced Preferred but will consider new grad

Ø Outstanding interpersonal skills

Ø Outstanding practical, diagnostic and decision-making skills
